Assistant Controller

We are searching for a highly capable Assistant Controller to oversee our company’s financial planning and accounting operations. In this position, you will not only be an accomplished accountant and proactive with company finances but will also be commercially aware and provide advice on the best path of growth for our business. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Provide financial controllership support for acquired companies, including post-acquisition consolidation, performance analysis, and integration into the group's financial reporting processes (PMI).
  • Prepare and analyze financial data and internal management reports; monitor trends and variances, and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee the company's subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and direct coordination with external accountants.
  • Evaluate the company's performance and potential risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with Israeli tax regulations (VAT and corporate income tax), including preparation of Israeli tax reports and subsidiaries' tax returns.
  • Supervise statutory audits and internal control processes.
  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.
  • Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes.
  • Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on behalf of the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
  • Internship in one of the “Big 4” accounting firms must
  • Certified Public Accountant – Must.
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Previous experience in a software company- an advantage
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize workload,
  • Able to conduct research and work independently.
  • Accurate, with great attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable with In-Office work schedules
  • Software experience with ERP (preferably Priority), Excel, Power BI
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew
