Priority Software is looking for MSSQL Database Administrator
What you will do:
- As a database administrator at Priority Software, we offer an excellent opportunity for:
- Responsible for uptime, stability, redundancy, capacity, and visibility of our database technologies.
- Support our Production environment: troubleshooting and resolving database problems, performance tuning and query optimization.
- Writing scripts and automation.
- Create and maintain root cause analysis of technical issues.
- Interact with the Engineering Team on specific incidents and on daily operational subjects.
- Proactively administer to prevent incidents related to databases.
Requirements
- 3 + years experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server is a must
- Professional experience with a programming language like Python/ Golang and PowerShell
- Strong working with all DB maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, integrity and consistency checks, etc.
- High skills in query, index, and DB I/O performance tuning, stored procedures, and SQL coding
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Windows cluster technology
- DevOps orientation – advantage
- AWS cloud environments experience (or any other Cloud) – advantage
- Team player with goal-oriented approach and self-learning ability
